The aim of the workshop was to give PhD and master students in energy economics the opportunity to present their work, i.e. “work in progress”, master theses or dissertations. This year’s workshop was organized in collaboration with the French student chapter. Three of the presenters were PhD students from France. This Swiss-French initiative for common workshops began in May 2010 when the French student chapter hosted a workshop at the University Paris-Dauphine.

The SAEE student chapter was founded in 2009. It wants to establish this workshop to promote the exchange between young scientists dealing with topics of energy economics.
